Spring Home Decor
Springtime is one of my favorite times of the year – I love listening to the birds happily chirping and feel the temperatures start to rise again. I’m not a huge seasonal decorator as I try to keep a fairly minimalist lifestyle. And let’s be real, my Christmas tubs take up way too much room already! So I try to decorate my home in soft neutral colors that will last year round then can add a few touches of the season. I wanted to compile a list of a few easy ways to add touches of spring to your home, too.
First up is the front porch. I love to switch out a winter-y welcome mat and bring in a fresh one for spring.
After you have a spring welcome mat, it’s time for a beautiful spring wreath. Wreaths aren’t just for the front door but are beautiful on range hoods, barn doors, or old window frames to add to your home decor.
Flour sacks/tea towels are also a fun way to add a touch of spring to your kitchen. I found all of these on Amazon and they are too cute!
Now it’s time to add some greenery! Faux plants are my fave because I’m notorious for forgetting about them! These are some realistic looking potted trees that look great in a corner for an accent. I just bought this one for my home and love it!
Here are some smaller plants to add some spring farmhouse decor. I love these on bookshelves/builtins, side tables and nightstands! Check these out from Amazon Prime!
I’m also loving woven baskets, which can transition through all the seasons. Throw one of your faux trees in it from above, throw pillows, or blankets!
Finally, don’t forget some fun spring throw pillows or light colored textured pillows to give a spring vibe!
